Originally envisioned as a summer retreat, this Donner Lake house has evolved into a year-round gathering spot for a family of five, their extended family, and friends. The design emphasizes strong indoor-outdoor connections, with expansive views of the lake and mountains. Inspired by the family's memories of summer camp, the house is simple yet thoughtful, sitting on a platform that seamlessly connects to a rolling lawn leading to a dock, bridging lake activities directly to the residence.
